Experience I worked in two of Auckland’s leading law firms before deciding to set up my own practice in 1997. I undertake work in all areas of commercial property and commercial law for clients of all sizes including working on some of New Zealand’s largest property developments.

Tanya Johnson

Experience Having started out as the office junior in the office of a sole practitioner, I gained a broad range of knowledge. I became a legal secretary and then progressed to legal executive.
I have worked in small to medium sized firms, the last 15 of which have been for Richard Beca. I undertake a wide range of work from residential sales and purchases to assisting Richard with commercial sales and purchases. I also complete financing, subdivisions, leasing, trusts, wills and estates. In addition to the legal work I look after the day to day running of the practice, including the administration of the trust account.

Linda Yee

Experience I was admitted to the bar in 1992 and have worked for large and small firms. My areas of practice include residential sale and purchase, subdivisions, wills, trusts and estates, general commercial including the sale and purchase of business and leasing and I also act for private lenders in relation to financing and mortgage recovery.

Desiree Willmers

Qualifications Legal secretary
Years in Practice 35 years, 15 in South Africa and 20 in New Zealand
Experience In South Africa I predominantly did residential property work, trusts, wills, estates and divorces. Since moving to New Zealand I have done residential property work, development work, gifting, property law act notices, wills and trusts. I have been at Beca & Co for 4 years.
